Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

When the dog bites

I desperately needed this post today.. in a bit of a rut and I need my favorite things in my head so I don't feel so bad...

My favorite book is actually a series. The Dark Tower by Stephen King. It follows, flashes back, and ends with the story of Roland, The Gunslinger. I’ve lost track of how many books LOL! But I love it!!

Yes, both forensic-y law stuff. It’s what I live for!! I wish I could get into the field, but it is SO swamped.. sigh…

30 Day Blog Journal: Day 2 - Favorite Movie

My favorite grown-up movie is Dracula 2000. My first Gerard Butler movie :drool:
I just like the story. And the actors… did I mention the drool??? LOL!

My favorite kid movies are all Disney: Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, and Mary Poppins. All the classics… and I love the movie/cartoon shows. Amazing technology for that time.

I also like the original Clash of the Titans, Charlotte's Web, and Secret of N.I.H.M. My aunt & uncle had those on the huge laser disc things and me & my cousins watched them almost daily!

My favorite song is a toss up between Afterlife and Seize the Day.

Both songs are by Avenged Sevenfold, an American rock band who sing about how things in life affect us all. Both of these songs touched my life after the loss of 2 preganancies.

The words may mean different to same, but they speak to me of the things I have lost that I will return to, but first I have a life to lead.
